Volunteer Agreement
Your registration to volunteer assumes that you have read the policies
stated below and agree to abide by them.
OUR MISSION
As a volunteer, you are agreeing to be part of our mission to encourage teen girls to realize their significance through a grace-based message grounded in reality. We also value the importance of growth through the conference experience, books, resources and publications. The Revolve Tour is provided by Women of Faith - an interdenominational women’s conference organization committed to helping women and teen girl of all faiths, backgrounds, age groups and nationalities grow emotionally, spiritually and in relationships. We believe that beyond a shadow of a doubt, God loves you – regardless of where you are in life.
YOUR COMMITTMENT
1. This is an individual commitment – you must personally register!
Since volunteering is an individual commitment you may not register multiple people to volunteer.
2. Cancellations
It is your important responsibility to contact us in case of cancellation. You are part of a team and not showing up for your commitment places additional work load on the other volunteers. Please notify the Volunteer Coordinator of your cancellation by email as soon as possible, but at least two weeks before the event. We understand life is ever-changing and in case of emergency cancellation, please contact us at 888-49-FAITH
OUR EXPECTATIONS
We want you to find satisfaction and share in the rewards of serving. Along with the opportunity offered by Women of Faith to serve “behind-the-scenes” you have certain responsibilities and obligations. Your primary and most important responsibility, of course, is to do a good job with the volunteer role you’re assigned. Our expectations that will help you be successful in your volunteer role are:
| |
Have a positive, willing attitude |
| |
Follow the instructions of your Team Leader – willing to listen to and accept their leadership |
| |
Be a team player – willing to work together in a spirit of cooperation |
| |
Be on-time to the volunteer orientation and to your assigned place of service |
| |
Understand your responsibilities and ask questions if you need further clarification |
| |
Respect the privacy of the conference/tour speakers, artists, special guests, and employees |
VOLUNTEER DISMISSAL
Volunteers who do not adhere to the rules and procedures of Women of Faith or who fail to satisfactorily perform their volunteer assignment are subject to dismissal. Possible grounds for dismissal may include, but are not limited to, the following: gross misconduct or insubordination, theft of property or misuse of agency materials, abuse or mistreatment of customers, staff or other volunteers, failure to abide by agency policies and procedures, and failure to satisfactorily perform assigned duties.
Volunteers who are released from their assignment may be invited to simply attend and enjoy the conference.
