#1 Selling Bible in 2005 hopes to launch
the #1 teen event:
The Revolve Tour is a Christian teen conference launching
for the first time in 2005. It was spawned from the success
of the best-selling Revolve “BibleZine”,
a Bible in the format of a fashion magazine that caught the
attention of media such as The New York Times and ABC
Nightly News.
Eating Disorders:
The Revolve Tour will tackle
one of the toughest issues that teen girls are facing – eating
disorders. According to the Health and Sciences department
at UCLA, adolescent girls and young women are the most
vulnerable to anorexia and bulimia. Speakers, including
chart-topping vocalist Natalie Grant, and Rachel Hockett
will share their personal stories of struggle with this
issue.
The 007 Life of a Christian
Teen:
According to Barna Research Group, 89 percent of Christian
teens pray weekly―but of that same group, 66 percent
confessed that they had lied to a parent or teacher, 55 percent
had previously had sex, and 22 percent had been drunk or
high on illegal substances. As seen by these statistics,
understanding and reaching Christian teens is not as easy
as it used to be. The organizers of a new nationwide teen
girl conference understand that very well.
